V-belt
V-belts are among the most effective, uncomplicated and inexpensive drive elements. They have one major advantage over flat belts: the much larger contact surface due to the wedge shape; This also creates greater friction and – logically – higher power transmission.
Due to the lower preload forces, the loads on the bearings of the drive are also significantly lower.
After vulcanization, the V-belt is cut out of the coil. As a result, he has no tissue on his flanks.
By eliminating the fabric on the flanks and the molded teeth, it is also much more flexible and can therefore also be used on smaller discs.
We have toothed V-belts, smooth V-belts and ribbed belts in various dimensions in our stock.
